The Liga de Mujeres Desplazadas has been instrumental in the establishment of the “Ciudad de las Mujeres” (City of Women), a community developed in conjunction with the Colombian government that provides safe haven and housing for displaced women. Located in Cartagena, Colombia, the group has delivered training programs to facilitate the reintegration of these displaced women into society. The photo exhibition will highlight the evolution of the Ciudad de las Mujeres, and will showcase both the difficulties and opportunities that challenge displaced women throughout Colombia.
